Smart Schools International is an accredited private high school. Smart Schools International provides high-quality academic programs and curriculum paired with the flexibility and support of students outside the U.S. Smart Schools International offers a flexible path to complete courses at your own pace. Each student is assigned a mentor throughout their journey who stays with them through graduation. They provide support, guidance, and mentorship and can be an essential connection point for students learning online.

Right to Learn

Established in 1998, Right to Learn Afghanistan (formerly known as Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan) is a nonprofit organization that works to make the right to education a reality for Afghan women and girls.

Right to Learn Afghanistan provides purposeful educational programs and access to opportunities that foster agency, dignity, and choice. Through a generous grant, Right to Learn Afghanistan is providing Information, Communication, and Technology equipment and support to our 27 students. Learn more at Right to Learn

STEP

STEP educates and empowers low-income Arizona high schoolers to enroll in and graduate from college. STEP equips low-income students with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to transition to college and attain a 4-year degree successfully. STEP takes pride in a 96% success rate in college attainment and graduation among their students. STEP will make its college admission counseling programs available for all girls supported by Alekain Foundation. Learn more at STEP

The Arizona Jewish Historical Society (AZJHS)

The Arizona Jewish Historical Society (AZJHS) preserves and celebrates the rich history of Jewish communities in Arizona. Through exhibitions, educational programs, and events, it highlights Jewish heritage and the Holocaust. Arizona Humanities

Arizona Humanities promotes understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and histories through educational programs, grants, and events. Engaging communities in discussions, lectures, and exhibits fosters lifelong learning and reflection on shared human experiences. Arizona Humanities offers grant opportunities for community projects emphasizing the humanities and provides platforms like “AZ Speaks” to explore critical social topics. AZ Humanities supports the Alekain Foundation with grassroots organizing and advocacy efforts, specifically grassroots level fundraising and awareness raising campaigns.
